I had a couture yarn store in the early 1980s when I knit this for the shop. It has been stored in plastic since. I have decided it is time to let these pieces go to people that will enjoy them.

This is a Patricia Roberts design. Loaded with intricate intarsia and popcorns. Lots of yarn changes knit on #3 and #5 needles by hand. The yarns are all French Anny Blatt which were very expensive in the day. Guessing today the yarns alone in the sweater would be somewhere around $500.00. Labor was extensive.
Content of the piece includes wool, mohair, silk, angora, alpaca and lurex. The angora bits are 100% pure long hair angora. Very dear then and today.
